Several Hollywood studios allegedly sought agreements with Megaupload

According to the "New Zealand Herald", these messages would have been written by executives from Disney, Warner Bros, Fox and Turner Broadcasting, companies have complained of violations of their copyrights.

The executives allegedly asking Megaupload, portal founded by German computer orDotcom Kim Schmitz, share content and conduct joint advertising deals.

Warner Bros apparently expressed their intentions to go to the website all its contents ina single action, rather than video video, while Fox and Turner Broadcasting askedMegaupload discuss joint advertising projects.

The defense believes that about 490 accounts for the site belonged to members of theMotion Picture Association of America (MPAA) and the Association of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIA) and in total, they rose about 16,455 files toMegaupload.

Also seek to prove that some 1,058 members of the site belonged to U.S. government institutions, including the FBI, NASA and the U.S. courts, as well as the existence of some 15,634 military accounts of the U.S., who have risen to 340,893 files Megaupload.

Coming Soon... The Dark Knight Rises

This summer we will be able to watch the next Batman film "The Dark Knight Rises" with Christopher Nolan as the director. I have to inform you that it will be the last film of the trilogy. The cast is more o less the same (Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman) but we have Anne Hathaway who also joined the team.

In the film, Batman will receive help from the detective Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillar) to prevent the destruction of Gotham City by Bane, a terrorist. There is a surprise that is the apparition of Catwoman character (Anne Hathaway).

The film looks great (as the previous ones) and I hardly recommend it.

Coming Soon... Dark Shadows

When you see this photo you may remember the mad hatter of Alice in Wonderland or also Edward Scissorhands. You are not wrong because this character is also created by Tim Burton, a famous film director known for his bizarre visual style.

The film will be released on the 11th of May and it is based on the American-produced gothic soap opera created by Dan Curtis

It's about the story of Barnabas Collins (starred by Johnny Deep), who is transformed into a vampire and is buried by Angelique Brouchard, a witch. Two hundred years later he returns to the world and he finds out that each of his descendants have a hidden mystery behind their lives. He will have to help them to recover the dynasty prestige.

According to MTV, Tim Burton has chosen "a comedy that will please many, but can irritate the fans of the original series."

Popcorn Cinema's Weekend... Mirror Mirror

Once upon a time ... this is how stories begin: Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and of course, Snow White. These are the stories that made us dream of our childhood. Do you want to remember one of them? And if this time we told the story from the point of view of the Witch? Then the story would be Snow White, mirror, mirror... The other side of the story, where the Witch is the attractive Julia Roberts, Snow White is the angelic Lilly Collins... and the handsome Prince Armie Hammer.

Do you believe everything you watch on TV?

Nowadays, when we watch a film, we don't know what is made with the lastest in technology. We can't distinguish what is real and what is only technology. Film makers can do everything and we can watch a lot of places in their films: a big city, the sea, a mountain but, in fact, these places are the same: a TV set. They can also create a cold and snowed city or a hot beach in summer.
You should watch this video. Here you can watch some examples:

Coming Soon... The Dictator

Sasha Baron Cohen is the man.  The guy created three ridiculously different characters and basically fooled America into thinking that his three numbskull personalities were real.  Well now, he is back with another character: THE DICTATOR.
Below is the new trailer for the film, which is absolutely hysterical.  Unlike Borat or Bruno, THE DICTATOR is a traditional fictional story (not a mock documentary) about a dictator from the “Republic of Wadiya”, who comes to the United States to learn about democracy and how to keep it from getting to his country.

The actor of the week: Nicolas Cage

Nicolas Cage was born on 7th January 1964 in California and he is 48 years old. His name is Nicolas Kim Coppola and his uncle is Francis Ford Coppola, the famous film maker. However, he decided to change his surname and he is known as Nicholas Cage, because he loves the musician John Cage.
He worked in a lot of films. These are some of them: Con Air, The Family Man, Face/Off, Snake Eyes, 8 mm, National Treasure: book of secrets and his last film is Ghost Rider: spirit of vengeance. In 1995 he won the Best Actor Oscar for his role as Ben Sanderson in Leaving Las Vegas. Nowadays, he is working in an animation film called The Croods with others actors like Ryan Reynolds and Emma Stone. The premiere of this film is going to be in 2013, next year.

Popcorn Cinema's Weekend... Untouchable

The brilliant french movie Untouchable, directed by Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano, which won Grand Prize at Tokyo International Film Festival, is a comic-sweet  story of a rich aristocrat now a paraplegic widower who hires a Senegalese immigrant from the projects and learns how to laugh and live again. The film is based on a true story.

Untouchable is an entertaining film in which we can find many memorable moments, such as the one in which Driss (the Senegalese immigrant) tries to get a cute French girl to take a bath with him.

Popcorn Cinema's Weekend... I recommend to watch this film.

The Oscars 2012

The Oscars are the most famous awards of the cinema. This was the 84th edition and “The Artist” was the most important film. It took the awards for best film, best actor and best director.
Meryl Streep was the best actress. It was the third award for this actress. She played Margaret Thatcher in “The Iron Lady”. The best actor was Jean Dujardin, who worked in “The Artist” and Woody Allen won best original screenplay Oscar for Midnight in Paris. Billy Crystal was the host in this Awards ceremony, where we could see the most important actress and actors.
People talked about the cinema but women's dresses in this awards are very important. People said that the best dressed were Michelle Williams, who wore a orange dress, and Milla Jokovich, who chose white. However, the worst dressed were Melissa McCarthy, with a strange dress, and Emma Stone, who wore a red dress. Wearing for these awards is easier for men.
Here you can see the trailer of "The Artist":
